With the mobile beta active, I'm looking to hopefully up my phone security...Whether it's necessary or not, I have installed an anti-virus for my phone.

This is also a question for the developers...will an anti-virus be necessary when mobile is officially released? I know it's currently suggested to have your computer security up to date, etc, which I do. What about mobile though? Is having the authenticator set up enough to keep your account secure through mobile?

What other security measures can we add to keep our accounts safe through mobile? Aside from the obvious.

An anti-virus shouldn't be necessary on release. Security-wise, Mobile doesn't really open any vulnerabilities. As long as you have Authenticator set up on both your accounts and email addresses, you should be all set :) @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

I hope so, I'm slightly worried. I go to extreme *possibly borderline OCD* measures to keep my account and computer safe. (Lol).

I've put my blood, sweat, carpal tunnel, many sleepless nights, and money into this account. I'll go to great lengths to keep it from being compromised.

This character is an extention of my inner-self and if anything happened to it, I'd go down with it. Like lifelong partners...when one passes, usually the other follows not long after. "
