It (obviously) depends on how much you use it, and probably what you're doing in-game. The game recommends being connected to a wifi source instead of running off mobile data. However, thanks to RuneScape's tick speed (0.6 seconds), wifi usage is considerably lower than other comparable mobile MMO's.

As for actual numbers, I've been using mobile for about 3 hours today at the Breaking the Storm event. According to my data manager, that was about 16 Mb. Therefore, mobile usage for me was about 5.3mb/hr.

For the sake of comparison, here's some data I found online taken from other major games:
• Fortnite: 100MB/hr
• PUBG: 40MB/hr
• CS:GO: 250MB/hr
• TF2: 80MB/hr
• WoW: 40MB/hr
