I played this game many years ago and came back immediately as soon as I heard they were releasing it on mobile. Unfortunately Jagex refuses to help recover my main account so I was forced to have to start over, but that's another story. I did not hesitate to get membership immediately so I can play on my phone. Considering how much of a grind Runescape is and how much time you need to invest to improve quickly, it is difficult for someone who does not have access to a computer all day to keep that grind consistent.
I have a lot of Inbetween time in my line of work so being able to play on mobile is such a wonderful experience. I just grind on the phone and then when I have access to a computer I'll do the more demanding tasks. I remember reading the recent update on the mobile process and how they are stressing keeping the PC experience the same on Mobile, which I can respect but I feel that exact thing is what is complicating things if I'm not mistaken. I feel that they should add all the features of the game onto Mobile but not necessarily the same accessibility.
Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices and make one easier than the other. They mentioned they wanted to keep it the same considering that many of the new users who are playing on Mobile are also playing on PC, well as the app stands now they are different experiences. I guess what I'm trying to say, in my opinion of course, is that people will have to adapt to both PC and Mobile if they choose to be operating on both platforms. So make Mobile as smooth and responsive as you can without having to be pressured to meet the PC standards.
Personally I play more on Mobile than PC, so taking into consideration the amount of people who will do the same, we should strive to making the experience on mobile as good as PC if not better. Keep in mind I'm ignorant and I'm totally not informed of everything that is going on behind the scenes, I'm just trying to Express my feelings thus far. Thank you.
