So I made this account to try all aspects of the mobile beta from a new players perspective. and here's how it went in stages:
1: Made account
2: Saw that the beta was for members only
3: Upgraded this new account to access the Beta
4: Logged in on mobile
5: Started Character creation - (black screened at this point)
6: Closed and reopened app, tried again, failed
7: restarted phone and tried again, failed
8: logged into pc to create character then logged into mobile
It may be worth noting that the phone I am using is a BRAND NEW (not refurbed) Samsung Galaxy s9 that I bought for the purpose of accessing this beta so its not data limits due to being an old phone and while I am aware that there will be certain things not available in a beta character creation should be available.
Another thing I've seen while mining is that Rockortunities before beginning the animation of the rising dust or whatever it is, the rock seems to get a solid yellow aura surrounding the rock before the correct animation kicks in
