So I have a Slayer level of 70, Kandarin area unlocked and the Unnatural Selection relic. I wanted to complete the "Defeat a Bloodveld in Kandarin" task which still appears on incomplete tasks portion of the in-game Leagues tab, however when I go to any Slayer Master Bloodvelds are not appearing on the list of selectable Slayer Tasks. I have all the requirements to kill them in the Stronghold Slayer Cave so I can only assume its a glitch in the relic possibly?

I am a little confused about this. Does that mean it's not possible to complete the task? Even with Unnatural Selection? It seems like an over-sight in development or a glitch.

I'm actually having the fun issue of discovering that Unnatural Selection doesn't allow me to select any slayer monsters except Harpie Bugs and Spiritual Creatures. Notably, despite touting a 1/25 chance of Superior Monsters, I can't select any monsters that have superior variants. Not even Cave Crawlers (which have zero requirements and are right there in Lumbridge) or (not superior, but still) Cave Bugs are selectable. It seems that by choosing Unnatural Selection, I essentially shut off the Slayer skill almost entirely. I can slay, but only regular issue monsters.

I am...less than thrilled.

The slayer task list, for me, looks like:

Spiders
Hill Giants
Moss Giants
Sourhogs
Ankou
FI Wyverns
Harpie Bugs
Iron Dragons
Steel Dragons
TxHaar
Greater Demons
Fire GIants
Trolls
Blu Drag
Black Drag
Hellhounds
Spiritual Creatures
Ogres
Black Demons
Chaos Druids
Mithril Drag

For reference, I am at combat 90, slayer 67 (79 with Skilling Prodigy), have Asgarnia, Kandarin, Misthalin, and Karajama...and I can't choose to fight cave bugs. I can stomp spiders all day long, though.

You haven't shut it off by choosing Unnatural Selection. You're choosing Slayer assignments from the same list that they would come from randomly if you'd picked the other relic.

Each area comes with a few more Slayer assignments, so you might want to look that up before choosing your final area.

I don't know why they made the list so short though...
