I just wanted to share my experience here since I heard the mods want feedback and reddit is so toxic.
Blazers was great for the first week or so, I was actually getting into osrs with a few friends, something I was hesitant to even try. being individuals we all had our own decisions, me taking the magic relic, the last recall, the treasure seeker. I have a great plan to collect elite clues on the boosted drop rate at barrows while I earn the ahrims armour and for super fast casting. i spent well over 24 hours working on earning full ahrims and killing enough shades to collect a few amulets of the damned.
I woke up the next day and my staff is no longer casting fast. I can no longer stand a chance of completing any of the speed fight caves or even trying speed inferno now. I literally worked for days to have my perk nerfed to a point where it no longer comes close to competing with a 1 tick blow pipe or a 2 tick whip.
full ahrim and ammy of damned isn't easy to get.
Now I have followed my plan that I made when I read the relics on release, but it is no longer going to able to complete most of the challenges I wanted to take on.
I had no desire to play anymore for about a week. Then I hear the clue relic is changing, another relic I choose along with a tiny percentage of the players. Only to find out that the new change is not to make it easier for the people who choose to do clue scrolls but its an update that basically neutralizes my clue perk making natural selection clearly the only desirable option.
It was so frustrating to have my gear nerfed, and then to have my slight advantage on clues basically neutralized and made useless. if you make a game mode to challenge people who make different decisions, don't go change what their decisions mean to cater to the majority, or it ruins the whole thing.
I will not be spending any more time playing trailblazers or osrs because you keep taking away all my cool things, and making my choices feel irrelevant. Just a humble wizard, trying to get by in a world full of berserk warriors and lose cannon archers.
