Hey everyone,


When I went on hiatus from OSRS I was part of the “Wizhats” Discord/Friends Chat/Clan Chat. It was a PMod/JMod lead community that focused on in-game events and community development.

When I returned, I reached out and found out that Wizhats had been disbanded and the chats were all barren. So, after a suggestion, I’ve come to the community to see if there’s still interest in this type of community outreach, and if there are current communities focused on this sector of the game.

If there isn’t, I really want to reach out and find people that would want to create events/chats for the community to connect in. I really liked the concept that Wizhats had going, and I’d love to keep it active if at all possible.

I 100% still have interest in the discord, and im not 100% sure if the project was scrapped. I do know that some of the guys just stopped but it is very much possible to bring it back. I continue to post events when I can and greet newcomers that join.

Rather then start something new, it may be best to reach out to the founders and see if doing events and maybe finding a way to keep it alive might be a better approach.

Not exactly sure why it didn't take off, my guess is lack of effort or events posted.

Heya,

That sounds great! I’ve attempted to reach out to a couple people that were regularly involved but haven’t gotten anywhere. Hopefully we can get a group together to get things rolling again!

I'd love to see the revival of Wizhats or something similar to it so count me in. It's definitely a nice feeling reaching out to the community and doing events together. It brings joy to many people and makes the game a lot more fun. I'm sure we could think of some great ideas!

I'll add you both in-game and we could have a discussion.
