App doesn't load on IPhone

OSRS Mobile app will not load on my IPhone, it errors saying:

"Old School RuneScape has encountered a problem

Your client needs updating. Opening store page..."

I checked the app store and I have the latest version.

As a mobile-only account this basically means I can't play the game at all.

Yep, same thing happening here too.
I am going to leave it open and see what happens.

Update: ok, I left the iPhone plugged into power and left it on the "opening store page" message for nearly 15 minutes.
Then closed the app and I could see an "installing" message on the app icon.
When the icon changed colour slightly I opened it and was able to login and access the game again.
