Hi all,

I've set up 3 or 4 accounts on either Mobile or PC over the last few months, but whenever i go to log into the alternate platform, it takes me to tutorial island with a new account, it doesn't recognise one has already been created with the same email address. So now when i log into an email on mobile or PC, they are different accounts at different stages.

how do i get around this?

when i make a mobile acc, it doesn't come across to the P*
when i make a PC acc, it doesn't come across to the mobile - i end up at tutorial island each time.

If you create an account via a mobile download from the Google Play store (or Apple Pay store), the account does not have an email/password login until you set one.
Until then, your only access is via your Google account login or your Game Centre account login using mobile.

To be able to login via a pc you need to add an email/password to the account:
Google (Android): Add a login email to Google created accounts
Apple (iOS): Add a login email to Game Center accounts

This ^ should solve the login problems of your mobile created accounts.

For the pc created accounts, you should see two login options on the mobile login page:
* continue with Google (or Game Centre)
* continue with RuneScape account
You need to select the second option "continue with RuneScape account".

If you can't see the two options or if you can but it still isn't getting you in to the account you want, it's probably an issue with the previous game logout you did on the mobile.
The phone tends to save your login/account and shoot you back in to the same account at the next login. To fully log out of a mobile account you need to do a three step process.

I will give those options a try. Although..

I used my main email address to create a HCIM on OSRS yesterday, and when i went to log in on PC this morning, it asked for the 6 digit authentication code. on PC, this email is being used for one of my brother's accounts.

So what do I do here?

i want the username "Wugs of Jine" for my HCIM, but i can't log into it this account on the PC because on PC its linked to another acc, but on mobile it lets me.

Creating a Runescape account gives a player access to both RS3 and OSRS from the same login.

When you logged in on pc this morning, were you trying to log into OSRS or into RS3?

If you were logging in to OSRS and your brother has an account with the same login on RS3, you are both sharing the same account.

If you were logging in to OSRS and your brother also has an OSRS account, then you definitely did not set the same login as he uses as the system would not allow it.
An email can only be used once as a login.

You could try the tools on the Forgotten login support page to try to identify your logins.

p.s. not sure we have got to the bottom of this. The mobile game platform and social media shortcut logins has made the whole 'login' process a complicated mess of different ways to access the game. O_o

This is a known problem. You have accidentally created a new Runescape account tied to your Game Center account. For some reason, the mobile client sort of latches on to this account, and always logs in to it, regardless of what login name and password you type in.

The solution is to add an email login name to the new account.

Log in on the mobile client. Open the account settings (button with the head and shoulders figure + a cogwheel) - you may need to complete Tutorial Island to get access to this button. Then link the account with an email address. You will need an email that is not already used as a Runescape login name.

Once you complete that, the client will log out, and you should then be able to log in with your usual account.
