Cannot log in on mobile osrs

I tried to log in on osrs mobile because some clanmates suggested it. I give in my email address, my pw and my authenticator code. But every time it says i need to log in with an email address if my account was made after november 2010. But I am logging in with my email. I keep on getting this message every time.

The mobile app has two choices on the login page:
* login with Google account (or Game Centre if you use iOS)
* login with Runescape account

If you want to login with your email/password, you should select login with Runescape account.

When you login otherwise (not through mobile) how do you login?
Do you usually use an email/password?
Or do you usually use a shortcut login method e.g. Facebook, Google etc.?
