I comment on my experience regarding (lost connection) .. playing osrs mobile in 3 types of mobile -medium and high range- I realized that there is a kind of (bug) when leaving the application for any reason, be it a reply to a message, review an application or any reason the application is minimized (osrs). it is very likely that a lost disconnection will take longer than normal to enter again. I've been through a lot of bad times while doing (slayer Wilderness) Osrs

This is likely an issue due to your phone or internet. Personally, I have an iPhone X and use it for OSRS mobile and I am able to swipe out of the app at any time and return back with ease. Sorry to hear you're having troubles with reconnecting - perhaps look to see if your phone has any wireless settings enabled that would prevent smooth entry/exit of the application.
