hello all,

so i created a account on osrs mobile with the google log in, ive trained it up a decent ammount and would like to log in on desktop to quest. however i have tried to link email to the account like i read on the old school news update.

thought this was all good untill i log in and there is a brand new level 3 account there

its like im unable to log in on desktop at all now?


please help

The instructions to add a login email are here: Add a login email to Google created accounts

Did you follow these?
It sounds like it didn't work and you have, instead, created a brand new account.

Hello,

Yes I have followed these instructions, however it seems there was already a new account linked to the email address.

So does this mean I can never log in via and email address now?

It just needs to be slightly different to the email already in use.

I'm having this same issue I logged into Google when I created my acct on mobile the email pop up dosent happen for me when I click on "email and communication preferences ". I can only set a email for news alerts. I cant find anywhere in my acct settings what my log in email is please help!!!

When registering an email address to your account, you also set it as login email. Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !
