Motherload Mine Ladder Bug

Sometimes while on the second level of Motherload Mine, I will click on the ladder and it won*t take my character down the ladder. He will just go stand one square diagonal to it. I don’t know why this is happening and I am always sure I click on the ladder nothing else. GET THAT XP!!
