Can't Access Previous Progress

I started a mobile osrs account maybe a year or 2 ago with this email address, purchased a new phone a month or so ago and today downloaded mobile osrs again. I tried logging in and it started me on the tutorial? And asked me to create a new character name. So I did, thinking at the end of the tutorial it would allow me to continue where I left off. My first mobile character name shows up on osrs highscores, so I know its not ban nor deactivated.

Sorry forgot to throw my question in at the end, how can I access my previous progress? I have emails from last year dating when I last purchased a membership. So I shouldn't be having any issue logging in, but Sadly I am.

The mobile client login page shows two login options:
* login with Google (or Game Centre if using iOS mobile)
* login with RuneScape account

Which one of these two did you use?
If you created an account with an email a year or so ago, you should select 'login with RuneScape account'.
