Hello guys
So a long time ago, probably like start of 2019 up until May my account was hijacked and everything went missing from it. As a result I just simply stopped playing.
I tried to log into the account in May, but it said I had been permanently banned for suspicious activity (I can't remember what it was that it said I did, something to do with keys maybe).
So I sent an appeal to get it unbanned that got accepted, however the account was locked until I confirmed I was the real owner through the account's email address.
I forgot the email address though, so this month I sent another appeal to change email address and tried to provide the proof that I am the real owner of the account. I got an email through saying my appeal was accepted and I can change my password and use the account.
So I changed the password and went onto mobile to play the game but it said I need a 6 pin authenticator app. When I go onto the website it says there is no authenticator app, so I don't know.
BUT here's the confusing part -
Obviously because I didn't have access to the original email address of the account I'm trying to recover, they changed the email address to the email I sent an appeal on. However I already had a completely different Runescape account on that email they changed it to, that was like Lvl 1, and I never used before. I think this might be whats causing my problem.
I can't log in to the game with my (new) email because the account was made before 2010, so I have to use the original username of the account, which prompts me to an authenticator code that I don't know.
However if I try and log in with the email address instead, I have to use the password for the other account that was Lvl 1 and I never used and it logs me in to the tutorial part.
This might be a key note but when I finally recovered the account it said there was 'No Username set', so I had to make a new username.
Can a mod help me please. I'm so confused. I don't know what to do.
