App created duplicate account?

I have played on my account on pc (login by email) for a while now.

I downloaded the mobile app and logged in with same credentials, using same email/pw.
When i log in, the account has the same name, but it is registered as a new account.

On mobile im lvl 3 near catherby. On computer im logged in at GE working on my crafting.
Both accounts have same login and account name.
How is this possible? How do i fix this?

Check the in-game display name - it has to be exactly the same as your email/pw login account.
It sounds to me like it isn't the same.

It is EXACTLY the same. Typed both email and password manually and double checked.

Tried logging into the phone and pc at the same time as well. I got the error message:
"Your account has not logged out from its last session or the server is too busy right now."

Im supprised the game allows two accounts with the same name at all?
Can you have different accounts with the same email?

Thank you, i will check. Is there no official support one can contact?

There is official support you can contact but there is one more thing you can check yourself first.

Try the tools on the Forgotten login support page.

Use that page to get an automated email giving you a list of all your logins.
Check that list to see if there are any unknown logins you didn't know you had.
Also, check that your mobile has the most up-to-date operating system.

To answer your questions:
The game does not allow two accounts with the same name but the same login will get you access to both RS3 and OSRS and your character in each game version is separate and trained separately.
Can you have different accounts with the same email? Technically yes. Explanation: Use the same login email for different accounts
