So a couple months ago I had my itch to go pk again on my old pure and I go and check and find out he is banned. “ I made him on mobile” I also notice that a lot of accounts from mobile are getting hacked. I have found out that jagex can** do anything to help you but like really?? You guys made mobile not my fault there’s gaps in your systems but is their nothing you can do for someone who lost all his stats not to mention I was f2p never member and all of sudden this guy has member items please help.

I mean hell at least wipe my account like damn or even throw me a member month for free it’s crazy how I have to just retrain a whole new character and no one is at fault?? What if I had spent months of premium for that one account to just have you guys tell the community yea we can*t help ya just make a new account like that’s absurd your game takes months to max stats so not even like a discount premium or anything like come on jagex your game has been alive for years do us right the same way our wallet does you right.

On a topic like this, you will only get replies from players in here, not JMods.
Jagex let the the Support Centre do all the speaking for them on this issue as it is extremely comprehensive (27 pages of articles on Security and Safety).

The two main methods hijackers use to find out players login information are:
* getting access to the players email
* deceiving the player on social media (fake Runescape content)

As a mobile phone player of Runescape, you can add a third method:
* exploiting a wi-fi network to catch anybody using the network to play Runescape

The three recommended security features are:
* 2-step verification protecting logins to your email
* Authenticator security code access protecting logins to your Runescape account
* Bank PIN inside your account protecting your items
