App Crashing is Unacceptable

I don’t understand how this game has been out on mobile for nearly three years at this point and the constant crashing on iOS devices has not been addressed. I’ve submitted a lot of crashing reports in the appropriate thread, but I’m not even sure if those are read so I’m posting here to hopefully get someone’s attention. It’s hard justifying a monthly payment for this game when it barely works on a high-end iPad Pro or a brand new iPhone 13. Changing the frame rate does not prevent the crashing, and, even so, it’s silly to tell customers to play at 20 FPS so their poorly-optimized game doesn’t catastrophically fail.

Thank you for considering fixing this issue if you’re reading this. I’ve loved this game since 2005, and playing on my phone makes finding time to play the game so easy. So, you can hopefully understand my frustration when the game continues to crash.

Hey there. Unfortunately, this has been going on well before the release of iOS 15. It occurs in large crowds of people, during raids, or when ice barrage is used regardless of how low I set the FPS and regardless of which iOS device I use. I’m not sure how it continues to be an issue.

Yeah it’s almost always in high population areas and when I zoom out a little. It’s bizarre the stability of this game is so conditional on very high end hardware when the game itself is not graphically demanding compared to any other 3D game that iOS devices can run. Like it’s strange a game like Grid Autosport can run at 60 FPS on my phone without ever crashing once, but this game crashes at 30.

I would like to know where the limitation is at. I’m assuming it’s a bug because there is never any slowdown before a crash. It’s always running perfectly smooth at 60 or 30 FPS and then it suddenly crashes. Is it a memory issue perhaps? Anyways, it would be nice if I didn’t have to micromanage how I play a game so it doesn’t crash, as I find that completely unacceptable for an end-user experience on a game like this. I appreciate you taking the time to respond, though. I hope me being blunt doesn’t come across as being rude. I love this game too much to let it fall short.
