My grandsons were both banned today after only a few days of playing. The "macro detection system" thinks they were using illegal 3rd party software according to the evidence. They were following me today while doing quests so they wouldn't get lost or killed. We were in some areas where a lot of bots were present. It is hard to avoid them. They both use the OldSchool app from Google Play. The only app that could possibly interfere is Google Family Link as it monitors the things they do online. I was able to file an appeal on "xTx Sage xTx" account but not on "xTx Max xTx" account. "xTx Max xTx" account said he has tried too many times to login and to wait a few hours.
I downloaded the new Jagex Launcher yesterday to my laptop. I added all 3 of our accounts to it. I let each of them login using it last night so they could try it on the big screen. They were only on for a little while with it.
I have been playing in the same room with them and know 100% that they weren't macroing. They just follow me around and play on their tablets. They don't even know what macroing is nor how to do it. They are super upset because they were enjoying the game. What could be causing this issue? Should I remove the Family Link app and start fresh? I hate that this has been their first experience in a game that has been part of our family since the beginning. Please help me get this sorted. What can we do?
