Sometimes while on mobile my connection may not be the most reliable which in turn will cause the client to force my account to sign-out. Unfortunately being signed out eliminates the ability to quickly hop back on your account and the only way to sign back on is to click 'sign in' then be redirected to the main website, enter your login credentials, and then you have to enter your authentication code. My authentication app is on my phone so I have to navigate away from the website open the authentication app, remember or write down the code and then navigate back to the website and enter it in. This is a hassle!
I understand providing account security, but the 'remember this device for 30 days' doesn't work in this case and it becomes very repetitive and annoying to have to follow these steps over and over. Sometimes it will happen 5 minutes after signing back in, and it can happen many times in a single day. There are times when mobile is my only option but this turns me away from even wanting to play and I'm sure it could for others too.
Another problem tied in with this is the fact that after you sign in with all credentials on the rs website, you will be automatically redirected to the client and straight away it will try to connect you to the game, but if you didn't pay attention beforehand to what type of world you were logging into (free/member/special), then you may get an error stating 'you are not a member' or 'you can't stand here in f2p world' or 'you do not meet * skill total/requirement', and if this happens it will SIGN YOU OUT and you have to start the whole process over again!!! And make sure you change the world this time to what you need before you start over...
(Sign in -> name/email -> pass -> navigate to authentication -> navigate back to website-> enter authentication...)
This a problem for anyone else?
