New Update Connection Issues

Ever since the new update I can*t access the game on both of my phones. On WiFi it works fine but whenever I use 4G/5G and open the app I get this message "Error connecting to server. Please check your network connection and try again” With a Red X below that text.

I’ve tried uninstalling the app numerous times and restarting my phones both of them are having the same issue when I’m not on WiFi. Like I said it works fine with WiFi but when I’m not on WiFi like at work it gives me those messages.

Is anyone else having this issue? Do the developers know about this issue? Are they working on it? Any info would be appreciated. Like I said it works at home on WiFi but when I go out and try and access the game it gives me that message… Which kind of defeats the purpose of playing on mobile of it only works on WiFi and not when I’m out and about.

Any response to this problem would be appreciated, thank you!

Same issue here as well. Game will not play on 4G/5G, only works on wifi. PLEASE FIX THIS JAGEX!
Hei there,

Make sure you have enabled the option to play the game on your mobile network. Mine was off by default and had to be turned on to allow me to play on my mobile network.

Have you tried reaching out to the support team on either forums, twitter or their official Discord? They do assist people there.
