Mobile Black screen bug

Hey since the update you've broken mobile I use a couple of samsung devices and none of them work all I get is a black screen I've seen a few people with the same issue. When will this be fixed? next week next month next year? and even if we try play on a old APK we can't as you have to update the game for it load fully.

Same thing is happening to me been 2 days no fix please keep me updated if you gotten yours fixed [qfc id=][/qfc*The osrs app is not working just a black screen and music playing.i seen other complaining about it as well how long will it take for yall to fix this problem

Heya,

The developers are aware of the issue and are looking into. They’ll keep us updated on their official OSRS Discord server ( see the dedicated mobile channels for more information ).

Here is their last update regarding the bug: “ Update for those experiencing the black screen issue at application launch: We believe that the issue pertains to devices that have Imagination & PowerVR GPU chips built into them as all the devices raised so far have one of those embedded in them. We are working on a client fix for this, and hope to have it ready for the next app release. If anyone else is experiencing the black screen issue, please check your device's GPU and post it along with your model & OS version so we can track it.” Ooh, shiny things!
