Hi all.

I have not played for ages and if I did I played osrs but I decided to try rs3 to get the gold party hat. all going well but I have come to the choice in doing thieving or agility (both very boring) if you are a high lvl it seem extra easy with exercise bikes and safe cracking for thieving. but me being a low level seems to be painfully hard. I have seen ppl doing exercise bike and safe cracking getting a shard in 3hrs.. I have been well over 5-6 hours doing agility at birm agility course, I don't have the time to spend doing 3hrs in one stint but is it normal to login and out over a few days getting more than 6hrs in on agility to still not get a shard? I have gone from lvl 50 to59 and still no shard?

this is not a rant but info how the shard system works would be great.

Hi Fatem

4-6 hours is where you would usually start reaching the luck mitigation.
Jagex has implemented this so people don't go dry for very long time.

Have you checked which shards you currently have?
Click F5 - Events.

Which shards do you have at the moment?
We might be able to share some tips and techniques on getting alternative shards.
Personally, I've avoided Support shard on most of my lower level accounts.

I have the one you get free to start.
I have the fishing shard, cooking shard, yak track and the quest shard so 5 shards all in all. i am still doing agility few hours a day but still nothing, i have gone from lvl 50 to lvl 61... very painful stuck on one shard

hope you are having better luck than me.

Oof - and yep I've been very lucky on all my accounts. :O

A few things I want to suggest are, for support shard, you could do Dungeoneering floors rather than Agility. I think Agility is very boring and repetitive - Dungeoneering, not so much!
A tip is to do Complexity 6, Guide Mode, Small floors. Can be done alone or with team.
It took me about 30 floors to get mine.

For the Boss Shard, you could do King Black Dragon mass in W2 or W84 (if still active).
Arch Glacor can also be done very easily - just pray against magic and bring some food if you don't have access to Soulsplit. It doesn't hit very high.
