Hi all,

My clan, the Rogue Ninja Civilization, will be hosting a 4th of July/Canada Day event to celebrate the independence of two of our favorite countries! We're opening the event up to the entire RS community (including people who are not American or Canadian) - so if you're looking for an event to attend, feel free to join!

Here's the event details:

EVENT DATE: 7/5/2015 (notice it's not on July 4th)
EVENT START TIME: 7:00 p.m. EST
WORLD: 46

Event Schedule:
[¤] Revolutionary War (RS Style)
Location: Clan Wars - Gamer's Grotto

Players will be placed into one of two teams:
-
Rebels
: The Rebels will be wearing blue capes and Bronze/Iron armor.
-
Redcoats
: The Redcoats will be wearing red capes and Steel armor.

We'll see if history repeats itself in 3-4 battles (one of which will be a non-safe match!)

[¤] Summer Beach Party
Location: Lumbridge Crater

After the war, we'll then be chilling & skilling at the Lumbridge Beach Party, lighting off fireworks, and a few other surprises. We may also be hosting an event here that's particular to Canada Day (to be determined).

At the very least, you'll be able to meet people from both countries and learn more about their independence days.

Thank you for the event but this is a big one for Canada. We celebrate confederation and this year marks 150 years. Canada Day is a birthday. A birth of a nation not independence. Hopeefully there are enough Canadian paying members to consider an event of our own.
