The reason for this is because most, if not all giveaways that were previously allowed to be held within the Events forum turned out to be scams or empty promises - the author claimed to be doing a giveaway, but actually wasn't going to follow through (or never returned).
The format of this looks extremely similar to those seen on phishing sites - if you were directed here potentially via a Youtube video, it may be wise to change your RuneScape account password and verify your computer is secure.
