Hello, we will be hosting a conquest tournament aimed at people who are relatively inexperienced or new to the scene!
Entry is FREE!
Time:
The tournament runs through the conquest spotlight. (begins Dec 17 2016, now you fools!)
Minimum guaranteed prizes:
1st - 5m + exclusive training
2nd - 3m + exclusive training
3rd - 2m + exclusive training
Assorted prizes awarded at random to participants
*Must have played at least 10 different opponents to qualify for prizes
Who can join?
Anyone can join, but only those who have not played in one of our tournaments before are eligible for prizes. This is supposed to be a fun and competitive tournament for newcomers!
Tournament Directors (TDs):
Icy Clench (chief director)
Not Dmm/Memberr
lRageandlove
Rangetill
Rules:
Find an opponent you would like to play. Tell a TD (listed below) that you are going to play this person. When your game is over, both you and your opponent must report the score to the same TD.
If there is a dispute, such as the game being a draw, but your opponent refusing to accept the draw, tell a TD. The TD's decision will be final.
Soliciting an opponent for a free win/draw or abusing bugs will result in expulsion from the tournament, and any future tournaments.
TDs reserve the right to kick you from the tournament for breaking any other Jagex rule.
Scoring:
A player gains N points for a win against a certain opponent, and N/2 points for a draw.
N = floor(8 / 2 ^ G), where G is the number of games previously played against the opponent.
Pro tip: The 1st game vs an opponent is worth 8 points. The 2nd is worth 4. The 3rd is 2, the 4th is 1, and thereafter is 0.
At the end of the spotlight, final scores are calculated as such:
Let S be the score of the player.
Let F be the final score.
Let P be the number of different players versed.
F = S / P + P * 0.1
Protip: it is beneficial to score high against each opponent, but an edge will be given to players who played many different opponents.
