What Do SpecialEffect Do?

SpecialEffect is a truly amazing charity. It is also a charity that us as gamers can really relate to. Throughout the years the NoonFest team have done fantastic work with raising money for SpecialEffect through a multitude of auctions, sales, activities and complete fun. But GameBlast is an event which truly gives us the chance to join a UK-wide charity event and make an even bigger difference!

What are the Scapers Doing?

As most of you know,

SpecialEffect

is the charity that Jagex initially supported many moons ago, and we as 'Festers adopted back in 2016 and have supported ever since with various fundraisers and Picnics in and around the RuneFest weekends!

This year we are again supporting GameBlast20 and will be trying to put together a list of streamers who can cover a 24 hour period, possible even 48 hours over the weekend of 21st - 23rd February

Last year

we raised the roof and hit our targets over and over again, with well

over £11,500

just from the RS and variety streamers!

Gamers from all across the world, not just the country,

take part

, and you don't have to be a RuneScape streamer either, as I will try to cover everyone who fancies taking part and give everyone fair chance if they would like to stream in aid of the charity. ....

What is the UCoR?

UCoR stands for the

United Communities of RuneScape

! Essentially, the UCoR consists of the adventurers of Gielinor, both RS3 and OSRS! The community consists of

players and supporters

from all areas of RuneScape and its glory.

We currently have over 20

streamers, content creators and artists

(to name just a few areas of support) not only from RS3 and OSRS, but various

other online games

and MMOs.

Last year the UCoR raised a huge amount of money for SpecialEffect through the GameBlast weekend and this year we would like to do just that all over again... and

!

We would love for you to join us and help us raise money again for GameBlast20 for such a fantastic cause. So...

Let's raise funds, raise awareness, and raise a few smiles too!

What's Planned for this Year?

We have lots of streamers this year which is just fantastic! From RS3, to OSRS, to art and other MMOs, see below for the streamers getting involved this year! Vicky Ligt created a wonderful visual schedule for us, but if you are unable to see the image, then the schedule is also posted below!
