The Events and Competitions Forum is for discussion or advertising of RS3 in-game events, either Jagex or player organized.
If the purpose of your post is to just say "Hi" and introduce yourself, that is best done in the General Forum Chat Lounge thread .
If you are posting because someone in-game told you to post to apply to become a Player Moderator, that was most likely someone trying to get you to post on a phishing site so that they could steal your account details. There is no application process to become a P Mod.
