1. Mastermind Rules

Mastermind is a strategy turn based game where the aim is to figure out your opponents numbers before they find yours. Wild cards are selected before the game begins that will determine your play style of the game.

FOR MORE INFORMATION GO TO THE HYPOTHETICAL EXAMPLE OF MASTERMIND BELOW THIS POST

Rules of Mastermind

1. Normally, you must select three different whole numbers from 1-10

2. Normally, you can select one number from 1-10 during your turn

3. Normally, you can select any number in a sequence

4. Normally, when you accuse a number you can only accuse on that particular number

5. Normally, certain condition must be met to activate your wild card effect

6. Normally, when you end your turn it cannot be undone

7. Normally, when you activate your effect you cannot mastermind on the same turn

8. Normally, when you accuse a number you cannot mastermind on the same turn

9. Normally, you can accuse and activate your effect on the same turn

10. Normally, when a number is accused, that number cannot be accused again

11. Normally, when a number is selected everyone who has that number is called

12. Normally, all numbers of a player selected in the field must be mastermind

13. Normally, when you mastermind incorrectly you are eliminated from the game

14. Normally, you can only activate one wild card ability at a time

15. Normally, unable to select a number three turns in a row counts as forfeit

16. Normally, active wild cards can only be activated during your turn

17. Normally, counter wild cards can only be activated during opponents turn

18. Normally, channel wild cards can only be activated at all times

19. Normally, if you get an invalidation to your move, it forcefully ends your turn

20. Normally, before/during/after the game, always have a good sportsmanship to other players

2. Hypothetical Example of Mastermind

> Before we start the game, players may choose what order they want to be in (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc) or hosts choose at random
Eg
Player 1 is first
Player 2 is second

>Of the same order, they choose what wild cards they would like to have. Being 1st takes the initiative while being 2nd selects wild card last (SAY PM TO HOST)
Eg
Player 1 has Armadyl
Player 2 has Bandos

>After this, all players must PM the host three different numbers selected from 1-10 and the game will begin!
Eg
Player 1 has 1,2,3
Player 2 has 4,5,6

> When the game begins, the host will reveal each players wild card. Player 1 selects a number from 1-10
Eg
Player 1 selects 7

> The host will then say how many players that has selected that number
Eg
Number 7 has 0 Players

> Since there was no player to accuse his only choice is to mastermind or end his turn

> Then, Player 2 selects a number from 1-10
Eg
Player 2 selects 2

> The will then also say how many players that has selected that number (this includes your numbers)
Example
Number 2 has 1 player

> Player 2 may choose to (accuse, mastermind or end)
Example
If accuse, say ACCUSE PLAYER 1
If mastermind, say MASTERMIND PLAYER 1 (1,2,3)
If end, you ended your turn

and repeat.....


TUTORIAL GAME
The other option is have a tutorial game with another player with the host helping you with every step of the game for those players that are the action type of person!

3. Wild Card Selection and the Combat Triangle

In this game, each player has one wild card that will be their guide to help them win this event. This will determine their play-style that can be strength to other wild cards or weakened to. These wild cards can be used every time it has been activated or some are passives. However, from the rules if the wild card is disabled you cannot use the effects of your wild card until the disable has timed out.

Active
- can be activated during your turn
Counter
- can be activated during your opponents turn
Channel
- can be activated at all times, first one to channel has the effect activated first
Passive
- effects that are activated the entire game

REMEMBER!

is neutral (beats all three)
Special
is a game changer effect with a side-effect

PM HOST YOUR WILD CARDS THEN THE HOST WILL BLINDLY SAY EACH PLAYERS WILD CARD WHEN THE GAME BEGIN

NOTE THAT:
-There cannot be two of the same wild cards in the same team in the game

Effect: When a wild card effect is activated, you can permanently burn a number once per turn of activation. When a number is burned, that number does not need to be accused to be mastermind for all players. You can also un-burn a number once per turn of activation when a wild card is activated
