Slime F2P disappointment

So after participating in the event religiously for the past 5 days.. F2P players are greeted with a slimey surprise that the armour cant be worn unless you're a member..

At least let us know next time that the armour is members only so I wouldn't have wasted the time and effort.. Unless it was mentioned somewhere not visible enough..

Sad that i came back after 10 years of not playing to be greeted with an event that was for everyone to do but rewarded only the members.. I mean sure, you can say they paid for it and what rights do F2P have to complain about it? None.. But it sure doesn't feel good either ways..

I think it's pretty normal that power armours are for members, nobody said it is a kind of power armour but fair enough it seems not okay to get that into the f2p areas.
It would be to OP for PKers plus just the combat in overall
If you want to get good gear i would recommend buying member to enjoy more of the contents like gear =) Currently hunting the new halo…

The thing is, again, theres usually some sort of mention that states what is for members and what is for non members. There was nothing of the sort here and when looking it up, sites including the RS wiki stated it was available to all players.

I'm not saying that stuff like this isnt normal per se. If it was meant for members only then it would make sense non members wouldnt have any kind of access to it at all. Now non members have this equipment that they literally cant do anything with and its kinda like a big middle finger.

Tl;Dr, there should have been some clarification. It was up in the air for the longest time.

Tl;Dr, there should have been some clarification. It was up in the air for the longest time. That’s true but hou can’t blame the WIKI for this Currently hunting the new halo…
