INTRODUCTION

A chill drifts through the air as leaves of red, orange and gold scrape along the cobbled walkways of the White Rose Sanctuary’s citadel. Darkness looms over the turrets and walls of the gargantuan building as beams of pale moonlight occasionally make themselves known through ominous clouds. You approach the guards who allow you entrance into the foreboding grounds; and your heart begins to pulse wildly as you come to the realization that there’s no turning back now…

Welcome to the annual White Rose Sanctuary Halloween Party Forum Page. We hope our little introduction didn’t scare you off just yet, as we cordially invite you to celebrate a night of thrills and chills, tricks and treats, games and prizes and so much more with us! We have so much in store including visitations from Freddy (of Nightmare on Elm Street Fame) and “The Creature”, an interdimensional Chthonian/Bloodveld abomination created by researchers at the Zamorakian Magical Institute. We’re also expecting Gordon Ramsay himself to act as one of our costume contest judges!

Come and join us at our clan citadel on World 42 for a Halloween spectacular you won’t soon forget! So, read below for more details and information about our event, feel free to RSVP below if you so choose, and we hope to see you there!

WHAT CAN I BRING?

A question you might be asking yourself right now after seeing the event schedule is: “what can I bring?”. We recommend bringing (or wearing) your costume and keeping a lot of inventory space free for the treats and prizes you might walk away with. We’re perfectly content with you just bringing yourself to our party; though if you are truly in the spirit of Halloween like we are; feel free to bring some treats of your own to hand out to other guests! It could be candy, coins or any number of fun items that you want to give out. The choice is yours! Dat Boi Thorny

HALLOWEEN EVENT 2019 RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS

Bone Scavenger Hunt

The bone scavenger hunt will be just that! A hunt for bones! Each player will have to go kill beasts to acquire a diversity of unique bones for points for a chance to win 1st through 3rd prizes. The rules are as follows:
-No buying bones off of the grand exchange.
-No using previously banked bones.
-No unsportsmanlike conduct.
-Scavenger hunt will take place on world 42
Each variant of bone will have a different point value according to its rarity.
Multiples of a single type of bone will not be counted toward a hunter’s final score.
Each bone hunter will have 30 minutes to one hour to scour the lands for unique bones. Volunteers who will not be participating in the hunt will be appointed to “guard” each of the grand exchanges around Gielinor. If a bone hunter is spotted within one tile of the grand exchange counter they will be disqualified. Dat Boi Thorny

Player Owned House Trick R Treating

Do you like candy and other prizes? Do you like the nostalgia of going to other’s houses dressed as an other worldly being and asking for treats? If you do then you’ll enjoy going to our clan members’ houses and getting a goody bag of treats. The prizes could range anywhere in price from 20k-13m, so like the saying goes, “like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.” To allow fairness and fun for everyone, the following rules must be exercised:
-No fighting over candy.
-Only one goody bag per person per household.
-Every trick r treater must have a costume in order to get a goody bag.
The open houses will be announced before the candy crusade begins and players will be able to route theirs any way they desire. The clan chat will be open if anyone gets lost and needs to know who has their house open if they forget or if there are any other questions. The player owned house owners will be filtered and trustworthy so you don’t have to worry about being shoved into a white van and get the prizes you rightfully deserve.
How the goody bags work: Each of the player owned house owners will have 10 prizes to start with, all placed in their inventory in the 1st through the 10th slot. You, the treater, will be asked to call a number 1-10 and will receive the item in that slot. As the number of items the house owner has decreases so does the number gap to choose from. Should a house owner run out of items, they will be restocked diligently. Dat Boi Thorny

Haunted Citadel and Raffle

The hunter becomes the hunted as everyone runs for their lives! The citadel will be overrun with killers that have somehow found their way through our portal security to terrorize the entire grounds of the Sanctuary! The only safety will be behind the large doors of the keep, but terror still attempts with great persistence to tear them down. The rules will be as follows:
-Killers will not be able to camp the raffle host.
-The raffle host must relocate after each raffle.
-Killers cannot camp the door to the keep.
-Killers cannot enter the citadel keep.
-Players are not allowed to stay within the keep longer than 4 minutes (5 minutes if banking).
-If a player is traded by a killer they must sit inside the keep for 2 minutes.
-The raffle host is impervious to killers.
-The raffle host will not be allowed inside the citadel keep or within 10 tiles of the entrance doors.
-Non-killers will not be able to teleport around the citadel.
The killers will be preselected and eager for the hunt! As this portion of the event begins the raffle host will hide within the citadel and call for numbers. While the raffle is going on “killers” will be prowling the grounds of the citadel searching for prey, trying to send as many people back to the keep as they possibly can. In order to claim your prize you must find and trade the raffle host to obtain your raffle winnings. After the prize has been given, the raffle host will then find another spot and start the next raffle. Feel free to skill in the citadel while the killers are running free, if you dare. Feel free to help others get their prizes by distracting killers, perhaps they’ll even give you a cut of their loot. Dat Boi Thorny

COSTUME CONTEST

If you are participating in the Costume Contest, there are four total categories that you can choose to enter yourself in. You may enter yourself in all four categories for more chances to win prizes if you so choose to. The categories are as follows:

ANIMAL
ORANGE AND BLACK
FREESTYLE
OCTOBER HOLIDAYS

These categories are up to your interpretation, with the exception of the Freestyle contest, which is pretty much everything that’s not pre-categorized. In addition to Gordon Ramsay, two others will also be judging the Costume Contest for a total of three judges.

Each category has a different prize pool (unknown to all but the clan’s leader). You will have a few moments to explain your costume and will be asked to perform (optional) up to three emotes that fit with your character or costume. You are allowed to use any items and emotes that you have access to.

*If you are planning to participate in the Costume Contest, you MUST let one of the following people know: Thorny, Watinko or Kesvir - All entries must be made no later than the end of the Bone Scavenger Hunt Event. Entries after this event will be null and void; though you may still wear your costume to the event.

To save some time, you may alternatively fill this universally simplified form out and we will add your name to the list of Costume Contest Entries. You must be physically present to participate, however. Dat Boi Thorny
