Beach Sand Cape?!

After you get past the 1000 sand and turn it in to the event guide, how do you get the cape? Do you have to wait until the very end of the event to get your items? -Kambren

Once you've unlocked the beach sand cape, click your customisation tab on banner. You will find it in the cape override section.
