I'm normally paying with Ideal, now it's not available for me. When I add 1 month to my basket, I go to payment options. First option was always Ideal for me. Now its BCMC. When I click Other, there is no Ideal.
What am I doing wrong?
And back here...Support couldnt help me.
They said it was probably not available anymore, but that makes no sense. My son is living in the same town as I am, and he can make member payments with Ideal.
So something is making Jagex believe I'm not living in the Netherlands.
Language/country/region...everything is dutch.
When I google somthing, my IP adress is in the Netherlands
I removed all cookies and tracks and traces and still no Ideal payments for me.
Sure I can pay with a paysafecard, but this is totally weird and somehow I would love to get an answer lol
Has your account had a problem with its payments before? Meaning, did a previous payment get reversed and the account go into debt?
If the account has had a payment reversal and debt, Jagex might restrict the available methods that can be used to pay.
No, I had never problems with paying for my membership.
No debt, no nothing. This is my alt, my main has a premiership.
I downloaded RS on my phone, and tried to get a membership with Ideal. Guess what?
It worked! I have 7 days membership now, but on my PC it's still not possible to pay with Ideal.
If your phone worked but your pc didn't, it isn't a problem with your RuneScape account, it is a tech problem with your pc not fully "talking" to the Jagex payment server.

I tried everything, but nothing. Still the same payment options and none of them Ideal.
I tried paying for other games on my PC and Ideal is working fine there. Only Jagex isn't working.
I'm going to buy gametime with paysafecards or other cards, will try on and off to see if it's fixed somehow. It came without notice, it will leave (hopefully) without notice.

Is it possible for you to try adding membership to another account using ideal method? Could be a block on Jagex's part for the account itself. You mentioned it works for your son, so I don't believe the issue is on Jagex end as far as not accepting the payment method, may be account specific.

I tried to pay with my main account, but it's the same there as here.
And it's only Jagex, that's the weird part.
Other games, or whatever payments I want to do on my PC, I can do with Ideal.
I always payed Runescape membership with Ideal, this is the first time I can't.
It's not really an problem tho, I can get me Runescape time by paysafecards or other methods.
It's just totally weird.
I did what the support said, I did what Malua told me, I did what my son told me to do. Flushdns, checking IP, empty cache and so on. Still no Ideal
