Jagex updated months ago to make all months of membership premiere months, but they left undefined the way in which twitch, prime, etc giving "free" months glutted you with YEARS of junk months that block you from renewing at a year for 80 bucks ish.
You can write to support with a ticket about this or that, and theyre acting really blue collar about it... applying band aids to each problem individually instead of taking our complaints to their bosses to get the whole system fixed for everyone.
Like... they'll offer to move the junk month payments onto FSW or an alt. Thats not really a very good solution. I fell victim to this offer, and let them move junk months onto my daughter's account, and its been a month she cant get her baby shuma gorath pet, so... we're having to cancel her membership, or rather... request cancellation, wait 48 hrs, and then at the verrrrry last bit of the month, hopefully, if they even get it done, then renew with gold premiere and get all the loot.
but main idea: its not you.
its the confirmation bias of the net. the blue collar support team is gatekeeping our complaints instead of escalating them to justify a systematic change that would reduce their workload.
