Unable to buy Premier Gold

Hi,
I understand there's a problem with purchasing the Premier Gold for those of us in 'memeber credit' and I'm one of the those affected.

I have accrued membership until the end of 2024 because I buy the Premier Gold every year. My current one has just ended (November) and I'd like to buy it again for the next year. However, I only get the option to buy 1 month membership.

I saw on another thread that anyone with this issue should open a ticket via Support for 'Transfer' and state the problem there. I have done that and have received no response at all. Not even an acknowledgement. On another thread I saw someone quote a JMod who said that the fix for the Premier Gold would be early 2023. Really!? 2023?

Currently the game is unplayably for me as I have the max number of bank spaces but on losing my current Premier I have reverted to the Non-Premier Bank space allowance, meaning I'm over the allowed amount. During DXP I had hoped to do some Dungeoneering but that obviously didn't happen as I couldn't unload my inventory and gear into an already overloaded bank. I can't wait until 2023! I can do very little of what I'd like to do in game as my invent is already part filled and I have no way to bank anything. Also, I'm one down on my Spins every day and am missing out on the monthy benefits, outfit giveaways, etc.

Someone else has said maybe the accrued membership can be transferred to one of my other accounts so that I can fee up some time/space for the new Premier subscription. I'm okay with that, but when I try it is only for purchases in the last 6 months which doesn't cover what I'm trying to do.

I need help. I'm paying for something that in all essence I'm unable to use. Even if someone can reach out and help me transfer my membership to my other account that would be a start. I'm not asking for much, just to be able to play the game. PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!!

Could you please quote a QFC for the thread where you saw a quote of a JMod response about a 2023 fix? I haven't seen that thread yet.

Response times to tickets to Billing Support are slow at the moment. I don't think there is any way to speed the reply time up.
Membership transfers across to another account have to be manually done by Billing Support so you come up against the slow response time issue again.

Have you seen the news item about Black Friday Bond Bundles ?
That might help the bank situation.

We’re aware that some of our players are unable to purchase the latest Premier Membership package launched on the 14-Nov 2022 due to the amount of membership they already have on their accounts.

Whilst we do not have a solution for this at this time, we are looking into suitable options and will announce more about these once we’ve found the best solution. It is likely that such a solution would be something we will introduce in the first half of 2023.

As a short term workaround to help you make the purchase you want to, please let us know if you have an alternative account on which you would like us to swap some of your membership and we will do the best we can to help you out.

Once we've swapped some of your membership, you should be able to purchase Premier Membership as desired.

I call that no solution at all. Lose your Premier benefits during DXP, in the middle of a month (too bad if you had not done your Premier Vault yet, which I had not) and now "maybe sometime in 2023 we'll have a solution better than 'start a brand new account and transfer your paid time over there, so you can pay us again for Premier."

And telling us we can spend more for a bank bundle to fix that issue - well, again, I call that sub-par. We are people who have essentially fronted Jagex money for our membership, and the only solutions being offered boil down to: give us more.

Thank you ISHTII I knew I'd seen it somewhere but couldn't find it again.

As for buying the Black Friday Bank space... That I have to pay out MORE money in order to play the game I already pay for is just an insult. It is an inelegant solution to the problem. It is not our fault that we are unable to buy Premier and since there are so many of us with the issue I really think Jagex should be trying harder to get us back in game without having to throw more money at it.

I should also add that although it's not ideal, I'd swap my advance paid membship to one of my other accounts (even though I already pay membership for those too - I fork out quite a bit of cash already on this game. Just sayin') but so far nobody from Jagex has responded to my ticket sent several days ago.

Bottom line is this though - I shouldn't have to try to figure out work-arounds to try and buy a package I've been buying for years with no issue up to now.

Support did say they are rather behind on replies. Which highlights either 1. there are not enough support agents, or 2. this particular issue, combined with the normal influx, is bigger than they can handle effectively, or 3. both.

If you let support know you have an account to transfer the excess membership time to, I'm sure they will get to you eventually and take care of that. I have no second account and no desire for one, so I'm still stopped dead, with a Yak Track coming up - which will surely go the way others have and offer special rewards for Premier members. So I'll be missing out.

Jagex is shooting itself in the foot here. I have also spent rather a lot of money on this game, and am somewhat embarrassed to say my tally on TH keys is a bit over $600 in the past year. But no more. I could be spending that again in the coming year, but will not spend a dime while this Premier issue persists. Either allow me to swap my excess game time for Premier membership, or TH keys, or *something* that will help me spend it down, or accept that there will be not a red cent coming from my coffers going forward. I'll just spend down my membership time without purchasing anything else. Or move over to Hogwarts Legacy when it launches and take a nice, long break from RS. Path of Exile. Diablo IV, also launching soon.

We have many options to choose from when gaming, and - like choosing an airline - I can easily take my gaming (and my money) elsewhere.

It finally took about 3 weeks to get this sorted so I could purchase Premier. Thank you to those who helped fix that for me. BUT, I'm missing the extra daily key for TH, I got no Premier Yak coin for completing the 1st Yak Trak and I don't believe I have the extra bank space either.

I've just waited almost a month to get the Premier issue sorted , and now this. I don't really want to start a new ticket and have to wait another few weeks to get it sorted if I can help it.

Anyone else with similar situation? Will it fix itself and I'll get all the benefits over the next few hours etc?

UPDATE* - I logged out, waited a while and logged back in and have now received my yak coin and my extra TH keys. I'm not sure about the bank spaces though. How many is the maximum? I've got every add on loyalty space that I purchased with my points in the store and I got the Black Friday Bank space extras last week. On top of the usual spaces, if I have every add on available for the bank, how many spaces would I have in my bank (including the extra Premier Gold spaces)?
