i am unable to login to my account because i have an absurd unpaid balance. i have not purchased anything through jagex in years yet im being forced to pay for it. is there any way to dispute this?

Hey, yep it is possible to resolve this. But first, please go through your security as it sounds like someone else has been making fraudlent purchases on your account. Remember to check for any linked accounts, this is very important to unlink if you find one you don't own.

i dont think i would need to secure it. i had an authenticator active for a long time. lost my computer in october or so and havent logged in except to just check on things since. recently got my computer back and now i have these charges.

edit: ive also checked my bank statements for the past 6 months and have had 0 possible charges to jagex, even refunded purchases are marked as such on my statements.

It would be a good idea to secure your computer, followed by your email and account just to be sure there's nothing malicious on them.
If you lost your computer and someone logged into your account, they could have used stolen credit to cause the unpaid balance. I suggest making a ticket and have Jagex look into this Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

im not sure how to make a ticket. computer was secure and have only just now tried playing runescape again for almost 2 years. have a brand new computer on this login. october lost my old one, then december is when i started getting charged(was like 10 or so separate charges in the span of 3 days). could you direct me to where i can make a ticket?

edit: the charges only post on my account info for runescape
edit2: have reported issues to support but always the same response. no option to dispute anything

At the bottom there will be a 'contact us' button. Click that, and all the way at the end you will be forwarded to a ticket form. If you have already tried this, please let me know the response you received!
