Hi,
My bank recently decided to change debit card provider and I had forgotten to update my Runescape membership info.
Over the weekend, so 3 or 4 days ago, i got an email from Jagex to say that my payment had been unsuccessful and I was no longer a member.
Anyhoo, I have now updated everything and payments are back in order at the price I was paying before the card change but will I have lost my continual membership status as regards getting crowns of loyalty, etc?
I would be very grateful if someone could let me know, whether my account is likely to have lost continuity.

Did your membership drop out completely? Meaning, when you logged in was your account only able to access f2p worlds?
If so then, sadly, you will have lost continuity and your crown of loyalty eligibility will start over. :|

You don't lose the grandfathered membership price if you set up a new subscription quickly but you DO lose the membership continuity.
