Bought membership not activati

Hello! I bought membership of one month on my runescape account today via debit card. However not only have I not received it at all, I have also not received any confirmation e-mail whatsoever, but the money was succesfully deducted from my bank account. I am also certain that it went to the right account, because as far as I know, I had to login to my account, before I made the purchase. Which I did. I do not have any other accounts that it could have gone to. I've tried looking into customer support, but I can't find where I'm supposed to go or what I should do. Is it normal to not receive any confirmation? My account had been inactive for a while until now if that means anything. I really want to play this event, so I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi Dumpling,

If you're 100% positive that you bought membership on this account, what I would first suggest doing checking to see if your subscription says that it is active (which by the looks of your account not having the badge, I am hazarding to guess that it isn't! :P ), you can follow the steps on this page to see that, though: Is your subscription active?

If you also can't find any other helpful articles in the Support Centre (link), then you can contact Jagex's Billing Support team by submitting a ticket. To do that, you would navigate to the page in the Support Centre that is most similar to your issue & look for a section at the bottom of that page to contact them. It will appear as a yellow button.

Debit cards usually only work if you are located in the UK as they normally only work for purchases within the country you live in.

If the purchase fails, the money will be returned to your account.
Your bank can see you made a purchase so they take the money out and hold it for the company you purchased from. If the purchase fails and the money isn't claimed, your bank will put the money back. So, in summary, your bank is holding your money at the moment.

Have a read of the Unsuccessful payment support page.
You might have to use another method to pay with.

The problem is that I used Ideal, which is mostly used in my country.
I only used it, because my brother also used that same method with no issues at all.
My bank account also does not say that anything is pending whatsoever.
I'll have to contact customer support then.
