I had to get a new debit card and i cant figure out where to update it in the system. I tried the my account and manage subscriptions but it keeps saying it cant my card despite having it for years. is there another way to update payments?

The only way to update your card (new expiry/new CVV) is to set up a new subscription.
Jagex used to have a process where players could just advise a new expiry but not any more.

Setting up a new subscription will auto cancel the existing subscription.

Jagex will take a payment straight away but the next payment won't be taken until 3 days before the accumulated membership time finishes.
You won't lose any days you have paid for.
