About a month ago I made a payment for a year of membership on osrs, I confirmed through the client that I was making the payment on the official secured website. The first time I put my information in; the transaction failed, but the second attempt went through. I did not consider it to be anything more than a minor technical issue until just recently; my bank card information was compromised. There is a known scam where an employee can set up a scanner to steal a person's information by having them enter the information twice, the first attempt is used for the individual thief to steal the information, the second is the actual transaction. While this could all be a mere coincidence, the timing itself is suspicious to me, considering that I have made no other payments on anything for months. I have no way to contact Jagex regarding my inquiry; which I found exceedingly frustrating. I would like to have this information relayed to Jagex in some way, although I cannot be certain that someone under their employ is responsible; I cannot help but find the timing of this to be odd. I wish I could communicate with Jagex more directly; but for now this is the only means I have to express my concerns of a possible security risk at Jagex. I just felt the need to express this to Jagex, I hope they can see it; considering it concerns the safety of every customer and the integrity of their business. Thank you for your time.
