I am already a Runescape member, but I'm having difficulty finding the right place to upgrade my membership. The app indicated I should go to settings, but I don't see anything. I don't see any instructions on your website either. Please help!

in the Support Centre, for more information and instructions on how to switch from a mobile subscription.

I need a mod to walk me through this. Please help!
I feel really disgusted that there aren't some simple steps laid out for mobile app members. If I cancel my membership and purchase a premier membership, will I lose everything I've accumulated? There must be thousands of other members in this situation. Please help!

You don't lose any membership time you have purchased nor do you lose items or game progress gained while a member.
The only thing lost is time earned towards the next Loyalty Crown - this time resets.
Why can't a player buy Premier Club while on a mobile app based subscription?
The mobile app based payment system and the website based payment system are completely separate.
A player can use one or the other but not both together.
I understand that iOS mobile owners are going to be able to purchase Premier Club through The Apple Pay store soon but I haven't seen any news about Android mobiles and the Google Play store.
