Pre paid card not working

When i try activating my card it say pre paid card could not redeem as system is busy please wait a short time before trying again. I didn't try again until like a few hours after but it still wouldn't work why is it doing that? Chafdog

Are you referring to a pre-paid Runescape Card or a pre-paid Credit Card?

Im having the same issue. Last 2 days roughly been getting the message after trying to redeem pre-paid card:
Your pre-paid card could not be redeemed as the system is busy. Please wait a short time before trying again.
