Possible CC fraud alert

Earlier today CC that is only used to pay for this game was used attempting to make transaction on a Google website based in UK.
My bank flagged and declined the transaction.
Obviously the account has already been closed, etc. but this does beg the question....
How did someone get my CC info, when the card is only used to pay for this game?
Of course, the Jagex website has ZERO ways to contact someone (anyone) directly.
Hope someone reads these forums...

If your account is hijacked, the hijacker
cannot see
your credit card number here on the website.

The only issue that might occur is if you have left the "remember my card for next time" box ticked and the hijacker could make purchases here on the website on your account e.g. Bonds.

But there is
no way possible
they can take your card number to use elsewhere.

How do to you pay for Runescape?
Are you paying directly here on the website or are you paying through Google Play, Apple Pay or Steam?
If you are paying through another payer, the security issue might be your account with that other payer e.g. Google, Apple or Steam.

I didn't say my account was hijacked. I said the CC info that is known only to me, my bank and Jagex was used trying to make a transaction on UK based Google site.

I don't use middle men to pay for subscription. Jagex charges my card directly.

I posted this for following reasons:
1) to alert Jagex that they may have a security breach (I could find no direct way of contacting them on this site)
2) to alert other players that there may be a security issue with Jagex. My bank flagged the transaction, somebody else's bank may not.
