I am trying to buy Bonds, returning to RS with my girlfriend, we wanted a little starting money and each time we try to buy bonds or anything, It's always in INR, which is rupees? I live in the US and when i bought premiere club It was in USD. Not sure why it switched and why it won't go back. tried to reach out on twitter but i was told to go to payment support page which is all about failed transactions. So.. yeah lol anyone know how to manually switch the currency to USD?

Are you using a VPN?
The Jagex computer needs to detect you as being in USA if you want to be charged in USD.
You cannot "manually" switch currency.

I am, however I have tried turning it off completely and restarting my computer. Gf does not use the vpn on her computer and hers says INR as well

Try deliberately setting it to a USA network.

If that doesn't work, message Billing Support for advice.
Go to the Common Credit Card Issues support page and use this navigation:
Contact Us -> Credit / Debit Card -> Confirm -> Let us know some details

I finally got it to work, but now it seems every card i use rejects the purchase. I say it's fine with the bank, and it gets refused anyway lol. Was gonna try paypal as a last resort before giving up.. but the paypal paytment method never loads. Just the load wheel spinning non stop forever. everything else loads. Such a hassle buying from Jagex lol. Never had issues with other non-US companies.

There might be one of several things stopping it now:
1. you might have reached your purchase limit for Bonds purchases.

2. Are you trying to use a Debit card, a Credit card or a pre-paid Credit card?
Pre-paid Credit cards are not so functional when trying to do an overseas purchase.
