Hi there, I play old school runescape on mobile and on PC. I have an authenticator which I have activated to the account Riddimslecta in-game. I have been paying for Runescape for the past few months however I went inactive around XMAS time.

I may have a photograph or more information relating to the levels and stats of my character however as Ive been inactive, I logged in today to find both my main account (Riddimslecta) and my alt-account have both been sent back to tutorial island and are asking me to make a new name and the stats are set to 0. This is on logging in using my email address associated to the account.

I have been billed for this month and my account has not been breached however it appears my accounts are missing?

Can you assist.

It's very likely that you are logging into the wrong account, or you are logging into the wrong version of the game.

The account "Riddimslecta" which you are posting on, has a total level of 1390 in Old School RuneScape but can't be found in the RS3 hiscores.

If you log into Old School using the same login credentials that you used to access the forums, you should find your levels and items there.

I have tried logging in via the username and the associate email address on my phone and each time its asking me to create a new character. Clearly the account hasn't been lost as the stats are available and my information hasn't gone missing. Is there something wrong with the login system? Im trying to play on Mobile OS runescape. Is the account Riddimslecta stilll associated with my email address as it does not seem to be working

Is the new character by any chance ending up in Tutorial Island when you log into it?
If that's the case, you may need to add a login email to the new account in order to gain access to your main account.


Here is what the Community Helpers say in order to resolve this issue:

The solution is to add an email login name to the new account. Log in on the mobile client. Open the account settings (button with the head and shoulders figure + a cogwheel) - you may need to complete Tutorial Island to get access to this button.
If you made the account on mobile (via Google Play or Apple Pay), it is possible you have never actually set an email login to the account yet.
