Time of the year again, spending dough on my accounts
But once again, i'm being scammed with membership...
1 month: 4.60 euro
6 months: 27.60 euro [that's 4.60 a month]
12 months: 69.99 euro... [that's 5.84 a month]

ehm, hello? why isn't it 55.20 or lower? it's supposed to be a special deal that's cheaper, not more expensive <.< wâzuppp mâdâfâkâssss :P

For RS3, its actually a good deal. $250 worth of stuff for $80. OSRS obv doesnt have those perks, but its mainly geared towards people with the more expensive membership costs than the grandfathered people.

Base membership is $12.49. 6 months is $59.99 (actual monthly would be $74.94), and a year would be $149.88, but this is $79.99. That's really who its marketed towards....especially as it's no longer just a basic 12 month membership package.

If you're grandfathered in older pricing, it might not be as beneficial (especially for an OSRS player) the farther back you go in grandfathered pricing. The 6 month might be the best option if you want to renew less times a year. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?

Grandfathered pricing is only available on one month and six month membership subscriptions.
Premier Membership (the 12 month membership) is a new product (since May 2022).
Because Premier is a new product, it has a new price. There is currently no grandfathering on Premier Membership - everybody is paying the same (discounted) price.

The old 12 month regular membership was grandfather priced but Jagex stopped offering it in May 2022 when they released Premier Membership.

The current best deal for a veteran player is the six month subscription.
