Shopping Cart Error - Promo

So if you get an offer for a promo and add it to your basket, it stays, even weeks later. My basket still showed 675 keys for $109.99, even until today. Smouldering lamps was a perfect promo to use them on with all my BXP, so I thought, hey, let's just make the purchase.

In game, I only received 450 keys, the standard amount for $109.99. Means shopping cart essentially deceived me into thinking I was going to actually receive 675, even after it was refreshed multiple times and had to relog in.

I submitted a refund, but if Jagex would be kind enough to honour the 675 as my Shopping Cart stated upon purchase, then I don't really need the refund. If Jagex can't honour the amount, I would like to just get the refund.

Also, can Jagex fix the shopping cart to accurately reflect the TRUE amount of keys if a promo expires? Not ethical at all to reflect 675 at checkout and only receive 450 instead.

Sorry to hear that you experienced this issue. If you have submitted the request for a refund, then customer support will get back to you as soon as possible. This should normally not take more than 48h, but it might be a bit busy with the new players returning the RuneScape. Please try to avoid using the keys, however, as it could cause issues with the refund.

As for the bug: I agree with you that this is not desirable and should probably be fixed. Have you tried to report this bug in-game via the "Report the bug" interface? This will send the issue to the team that can help you with your issue. Jagex does not (always) actively monitor the forums for these type of issues, so if you want to be sure that this it gets looked into, then I would advise you to send in a bug report. :)
