HELP Unable 2 renew Membership

I purchased 1 month of membership for osrs through the Apple Store. Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t allow you to purchase just one month so I immediately turned off auto-renewal after I made my purchase. My membership has expired, and I am no longer able to purchase membership directly through Jagex. This is for an account that I’ve had since 2008, and I refuse to go through Apple to purchase my membership.

This is my first time ever posting on the RS forum, and it seems that the only support provided would be by the community, which is just absurd. I can never get over the fact that Jagex offers zero customer support to its customers and instead relies on theirs customers to help out one another.

Has anyone else experienced this, and found a way to work around it?

If you want to swap across to paying directly from Jagex through the website here, you just need to wait until your Apple paid membership has fully used up and the account returned to F2p.
Why?
Because the two different payment systems (mobile and direct) are incompatible with each other. You can use one or the other but, if you want to swap you have to do it from F2p.

My apologies.

After membership ends, there is usually a delay until the website fully updates your account status. I saw the
"My membership has expired"
statement but, depending how fast you tried to pay, the Apple payment might still have been affecting your account.

If you find you are still unable to purchase through the website, try a different credit card or try one of the other payment methods.

It also could depend on whether your bank is stopping you from making the purchase or whether it is Jagex rejecting your purchase.

Please note that all payments through the website for membership are for "recurring" subscriptions. Jagex no longer sell memberships that don't auto renew.
It is possible to pay a month then cancel the recurring to stop the renewal and you can start and stop membership quite easily through the website. I have done that quite a bit on my other accounts.
