Jagex charge me THREE times for a membership i had cancelled. I cancelled it multiple times and have emailed them about it. This was a while ago now (over 6 months) and still no reply at all.

Now iv come back to runescape to find my account it locked because i owe money for the last time they tried to charge me for a membership i cancelled and didnt use!

So, how can i get my refund and get my account unlocked? jagex will not respond to me, so what can i do? and you know what? all i really want is my account unlocked, you can keep my money Jagex!

Jagex normally respond to a Billing Support query by leaving the reply in the 'Messages' tab inside the affected account.
However if more than three months have gone by, the messages will have disappeared.

To cancel a membership, the instructions are here: Cancel Subscription
If you followed those instructions you shouldn't have had any problem.

To apply for a refund of unused membership, the instructions are here: Refunds

Now the account is frozen due to a chargeback, you should read this page: Settle an Unpaid Balance
There is a 'Contact Us' button at the bottom of the page.

I expect you will need to reverse the chargeback to unfreeze the account THEN attempt to claim a refund of the unused membership.
I doubt Jagex will offer a refund and unfreeze the account while it has a debt.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic there has been a increase in players coming back to the game and an increase in player support requests.
JMods are working from home and reply times are very delayed, both due to the increase in player support requests and the difficulties of working from home.

To sort this problem out it's going to take time and patience.

The main problem was i signed up for one single month of membership, it wasn't meant to be a reoccurring payment. i did ask for a refund and Jagex has never got back to me. ill try what you have mentioned. Its just disappointing to be ripped off like this, and to receive no customer service, it's pretty poor on Jagex's behalf. had to come here to the forum page just to get some help.
