why lower price membership end

Some years ago I Brought membership at the lower price (Before the price went up)

I was on the 6 month membership package for £34.99p (pied using paypal)

I Now also have the premier package aswell on the same account what I Brought something like around 14 days before my Holiday

6 months ago from Now I got changed automatically and received an email aswell what was ok

but This Time I was on my Holiday had no idea that my membership was going to run out
I could of done with even an email or something before it run out
I have no idea how we would know without any warning before it was about to run out.

I Didn't want my membership to End on the old price The lower price

my question was why it was not done the same way as 6 months ago.

I only notice something was up yesterday when my treasure hunter keys went from 6 to 3
then the day before when I had 6
my guess is it might of ended by /when the keys number go down
I tried looking also yesterday about getting a member package and it says £44.99p
when I pied 6 months ago £34.99p and before that.

Don't we get some days to keep the lower price from after the membership unknowingly end.

This seem very unfair clearly jagex go back on there word
I was happy to go and re-upgrade if it not automatic for the old lower price

like I said had nothing to say what Day or anything it was going to end. Only the Treasure Hunter keys went Down.

To add, Jagex do seem to lack there care in there players by my experience.

I Wish us players knew what’s Happening a lot more as it is us players paying Big Good sized amounts in which keep Runescape worlds alive. (Runescape 3 and old-school Runescape)

When you buy Premier Membership, you get double daily keys for the first month.
It sounds like your first month has just ended and you are now back on the regular Premier daily key number (3).

To check exactly what membership you have running currently, click on 'My Account' at the top of this page, then 'Manage your Subscriptions' then 'View by Account'.
The next screen will tell you exactly what type of sub you have. I suspect you have a Premier Membership.

About the six month membership package.
When you bought Premier Membership it would have cancelled/replaced your six month subscription however the price of a six month sub should have stayed the same as long as you maintained continuous membership.
When I check mine, it shows: <discount price> <full price> .
Is that what your payment page shows?

Yes Already knew about this after I joined premier I checked Then Had and saw 2 packages the 6 month member one and the premier one on The Account , side by side. (I was worried then if I Buy premier would it replace , was not sure if could have 2 or more packages so I checked just after I Brought the premier package at the time but I saw you could.)


sadly I don't think I print screen This from back then.


to add now it Now just the premier package since the other day

Also if that the case would I got a refund or something for the Remaining Time left on the member before buying the premier package as it not the full 6 months only the something like 5.

all would = free one go to 2 keys member number would get doubled and the 3 premier Go to 6 ?
also another account I had / have a package of premier on I never got Double keys on that for First month, Jagex seem to be really making a mess of things here if this the case.

As I paid 6 months ago from now and 6 months before that since before the price change last. Last paid around Christmas time area.

I also did have the maintained continuous membership till this issue, I only join premier to help get the Shard for my golden cape main reason of upgrading Also in the long run I was planing to upgrade to premier for a time anyway.

It Now show only the New Full price

Also I Forgot to say I paid with pay-pal and I still have lots in there to still pay so no idea why it was Not Automatic Done like last Time the 6 months Before.

Premier Membership takes precedence, meaning it starts immediately.
If you had only used 5/6 months of the six month package, that remaining time sits there waiting until the day you cancel and finish Premier, then it would start getting used again.

No. Your Premier Membership pushes the six month membership back. You aren't paying for two memberships to run concurrently.
Premier Membership increases the regular daily keys from 2 to 3. That is all.

When did you buy that other Premier Membership?
The double daily keys for the first month was introduced early 2022 (possibly May). Earlier Premier Club memberships did not have that feature.

I think you must have checked just before the website updated your membership as the Premier Membership should have wiped the six month subscription out.

If you want to contact Billing Support and ask about your grandfathered membership, you should use the 'Contact Us' button at the bottom of the Unsuccessful payment support page.
I know an unsuccessful payment isn't the exact issue but that contact point will get your message through to the people that can check your account.

ok I see , just a bit strange it say the new higher price when looking currently.

I not really worried about the keys But I had members then buying premier may push the limit up (member and premier) but if it don't that ok. Bit of a down side still feel like maybe though ? So member 2 keys with the number the get buying primer on-top I was thinking.

The other premier was brought over Christmas before last for £49.99p then last Christmas I got charged £59.99p what I got charged £10 more then was planning
premier was active the whole time so over charge?
. But never saw Double keys too.

was wondering should it be tried well try contacting them again about maybe last christmas over charge? Premier going into premier when staying active.?
Still not sure if premier was part of the keep old lower price Deal. Now I found a way to make contact with Billing support
just what I was thinking just to make sure there was a overcharge or not.
Maybe too late to do anything though as it was last christmas but you never know.
